We inspire people to shift towards a plant-centered diet to improve their health, to encourage compassion for animals, and to achieve a sustainable environment.
We visit local restaurants for our vegan "Dining Out" events. We bring in speakers, medical doctors and animal advocates, for inspiring health related talks.
We are located in Brevard County, Florida.

Two excellent veggie restaurants in Orlando
Susie and I went to an Indian Vegetarian Restaurant in Orlando last weekend. It is called Woodlands, and it is wonderful. I think they do dairy, so I asked to leave that out... but other than that it was tasty. Check out this web site for more info.http://cityguide.aol.com/orlando/dining/venue.adp?sbid=123193

Then we visited the vegetarian restaurant that Sandra Diaz works at... she had sent a few of us this note to say, "I just wanted to let you all know that Dandelion Communitea Cafe was voted by readers of Orlando Weekly as Orlando's Best Vegetarian Restaurant!"
Here is a web site for Dandelions http://orlandocitybeat.metromix.com/restaurants/orlent-restaurants-dandelioncafe-s,0,665150.story?coll=orl-headlines-listings-restaur

Anyway I would recommend both. It looked like most of the patrons at Woodlands were from India so we knew the food would be good. Then we had some dessert at the Dandelion and listened to live music and a poetry reading under the stars. It was a great night.
