We inspire people to shift towards a plant-centered diet to improve their health, to encourage compassion for animals, and to achieve a sustainable environment. We visit local restaurants for our vegan "Dining Out" events. We bring in speakers, medical doctors and animal advocates, for inspiring health related talks. HPoB's September Dining Out

Healthy Planet of Brevard’s September Dining Out will be our third visit to Taste of Goa in Cape Canaveral.

Here are the details:

When:

Saturday, September 10, 2005 – 7pm (Please note time)

Where:

Taste of Goa, 8501 Astronaut Blvd (A1A), Cape Canaveral 32920

Buffet Menu:

Soup: Vegetable

Appetizer: Vegetable Somosa (Vegetables, potatoes, and spices wrapped in a crisp pastry.)

Bread: Naan

Entrees: (1) Aloo Gobi (Potatoes, cauliflower, onion and tomatoes simmered in fine herbs and spices.) (2)Marsala Dal Tarka (Lentils seasoned with exotic spices.)(3) Spinach and Potatoes

Price: $18.00 (DOES NOT include tax and gratuity)

Beer and wine are available for purchase.

Reserve Now to Dine Out - next Saturday

I’m happy to say I can still take YOUR reservation for next Saturday’s Dining Out at Cedars Café. Reply by return email or call me at 321-242-4647. It will be delicious and fun too!

Here are the details:

Saturday, August 13, 2005 at 6pm

Where:

Cedars Café

4100 N. Wickham Road, Melbourne

This is in the Post Commons Shopping Center at the northwest corner of Post Road and Wickham. Also in the shopping center is Publix, Bealls & SteinMart. It is behind R.J. Gators and diagonally across from the King Center.

Menu:

The food will be served buffet-style and will include tabouli, fatoush salad, hummus, baba ghannouj, vegetable grape leaves, falafel, foul (marinated fava beans) and pita.

Included beverages are lemonade, regular coffee and tea.

BYOB! You may bring your own alcoholic beverages as Cedars Café does not sell wine or beer.

The Price:

$18 which includes the tax and tip. Once again, please bring cash or checks as I will collect the money.
