Looking for Veg Roommate in Vero I am looking for a roommate, or two, to live in my veggie home. We live in a large home with a pool in an upscale neighborhood. Rent is $500.00 or $550.00 depending on which room they take, which includes utilities. No pets, smoking, druggies, or eating meat in the home. I know it sounds picky, but most veg people are already practicing a cleaner lifestyle. I am willing to go month to month or do a 6 or 12 month lease. Security deposit required. One for Central Brevard and one for South. Someone that is willing to make the potlucks work, with advertising, phone calls, reminders, with help from the other core members. Discuss possible guest speakers; Dr. Greger (fall, winter?), Chas Chiodo, Eisner, vegan farmer? Discuss Turkey-free Thanksgiving dinner celebration If any core member would like to add an item please edit this posting. Independence from Meat Potluck and BBQ The Independence from Meat Potluck and BBQ was a big success, thanks in large part from Sunseed Food Co-op. The Co-op donated the Not-Dogs, Boca Burgers and Buns. We had plenty of other foods, baked beans, chili, potato salad, sushi, watermelon, bean dips, pasta salad, cookies and herbal tea. There were 34 people of all ages. The overcast skies kept it from being too miserably hot and as we were getting ready to leave it started to rain.
